On 03/02/2018, the representatives of Tue Tam VH Group go to Khanh Hung Pagoda in Tan Quoi Village, Phong Hoa Commune, Lai Vung District, Dong Thap Province to attend the summary of Buddhist affairs in 2017 and Stage 01 Inauguration of the newly constructed Pagoda.
Khanh Hung Pagoda, constructed in 1929, repaired in 1963, now – with much wear and tear after 55 years – is still the place for Buddha worshiping and spiritual nourishment and development of Buddhist disciples and the local people.
Delegated by Dong Thap Buddhist Sangha to head Khanh Hung Pagoda, Venerable Thich Tri Thuong is the person who has cooperated with Tue Tam VH Group in the construction of the first Tue Tam Bridge (Ngon Kenh Thay Tam Bridge) in Dong Thap. From such wonderful bondage and the enthusiasm and concern for Buddhist disciples and the people frequenting the Pagoda, Tue Tam VH Group has campaigned for benefactors’ financing of renovation and new construction of Khanh Hung Pagoda.

The construction of the Pagoda is carried out in 2 stages:
Stage 01: New construction of the monastery consisting of 01 living room and 02 dwelling rooms for the residing monks. The total construction cost of VND43 million for this stage is wholly financed by Tue Tam VH Group.
Stage 02: New construction of the kitchen, dining room, warehouse, sleeping room and toilets for Buddhist sympathizers from far and near at the estimated cost of VND157 million.
Stage 01 is already finished. The solemn inauguration ceremony takes place in the witness of the representatives of local government, Buddhist, Hoa Hao, Cao Dai Sects and the local people.

On behalf of the sponsors, the representative of Tue Tam VH Group present to the Venerable, the representatives of the local government, the religious sects and the local people its Mau Tuat New Year wishes for physical and spiritual health and happiness.
In this occasion, Tue Tam VH Group offer 300kg of rice and supplies to the Pagoda.

Tue Tam VH Group shall continue our campaign for, and financing, the construction of Khanh Hung Pagoda in Stage 02, and providing necessary supplies to the Pagoda comprising 100 stainless table-chair sets, 30 costumes, 20 granite benches, mosquito nets, blankets, cushions, etc. for the daily activities of monks and nuns in the Pagoda.
The newly-constructed Khanh Hung Pagoda shall be a good place for spiritual bondage and development to the local people and Buddhist disciples in and to the Pagoda.
